Fruity Fragrances

A fruity accord brings the impression of ripe, juicy, tart, candied, or jammy fruit into a fragrance. It may suggest peach, pear, apple, berries, plum, mango, passion fruit, melon, fig, blackcurrant, or tropical fruit, depending on the composition. Fruity notes are often used to make florals more playful, gourmands more mouthwatering, musks more cheerful, and ambers more approachable. They pair naturally with rose, jasmine, vanilla, caramel, citrus, woods, musk, tea, lactonic notes, and soft spices. Some fruity accords are fresh and sparkling, while others are syrupy, dark, fermented, or candy-like. The effect can feel youthful, romantic, lush, or exotic.
