Rose Fragrances

A rose accord can smell fresh, dewy, jammy, spicy, green, honeyed, powdery, or darkly velvety, depending on the materials used and the style of the fragrance. It may suggest newly opened petals, rosewater, Turkish delight, red rose jam, dried petals, or a deep rose absolute effect. Rose is one of perfumery’s most adaptable floral notes, appearing in soliflores, chypres, oud pairings, musks, fruity florals, ambers, and modern woody scents. It pairs with patchouli, saffron, oud, geranium, violet, lychee, raspberry, pepper, musk, sandalwood, incense, and vanilla. The accord can feel romantic and classic, fresh and youthful, or opulent and dramatic.
