Tuberose Fragrances

A tuberose accord smells lush, creamy, white floral, and narcotic, with facets that may feel buttery, green, mentholated, honeyed, fruity, rubbery, or indolic. It is one of perfumery’s most dramatic floral effects, often bringing volume, sensuality, and heady after-dark richness. Tuberose pairs beautifully with jasmine, orange blossom, gardenia, ylang-ylang, coconut, vanilla, sandalwood, musk, amber, spices, and green notes. Some interpretations are fresh and dewy, while others are dense, tropical, vintage, or almost dangerous in their intensity. In a composition, tuberose can dominate as a glamorous centerpiece or add creamy depth to a broader white floral bouquet.
