Max Mara Fragrances

Max Mara has a limited fragrance history connected to the Italian fashion house’s restrained tailoring and understated femininity. The original Max Mara perfume combined ginger and citrus with magnolia, orchid, lily, musk, woods, and a distinctive sugar-cane effect. Le Parfum later took a warmer floral-woody direction through pink pepper, nutmeg, plum, freesia, gardenia, rose, jasmine, musk, and sandalwood, while Le Parfum Zeste & Musc emphasized brighter citrus and clean musk. Other discontinued releases explored florals, vanilla, woods, powder, and soft sweetness. Fragrance is no longer a major part of Max Mara’s business, so the collection mainly appeals to those seeking polished, softly warm designer perfumes from the 2000s.
