FragIndex finds this a very close, more approachable interpretation of Mancera Red Tobacco, preserving its dense sweet-spicy tobacco character while softening some of the original's aggressive opening. The resemblance remains strong through the drydown, although this version is often described as slightly smoother, less forceful, and easier to wear. Longevity and projection are generally strong, but experiences vary from weak performance to seven or eight hours, while the dark, occasionally harsh opening remains its most recurring criticism.
