FragIndex finds this a dark, resinous interpretation of Nasomatto Black Afgano, with the strongest resemblance appearing in its smoky, herbal, and balsamic character. Hawas Viper develops a drier tobacco-and-coffee warmth and can feel more incense-heavy than the original, while some wearers also detect affinities with other dense, smoky niche fragrances. Longevity is exceptional and the opening projects forcefully before settling closer, but its medicinal edge, austere dryness, and mature atmosphere make it highly polarizing and far less versatile than most releases in the Hawas line.
